Sarawak Create History

Pulau Pinang 27 Mac 2013 – In the under 12 MSSM cricket tournament,  Sarawak created history by qualifying into the quarterfinals for the first time in then tournament history. In todays morning morning game the East Coast team cruised  to 98 run win over Perlis. The Sarawak U18 team comprising of many U15 players however crashed out of the cricket tournament when they lost to Perak by 10 wickets.

Result U12

Perak beat Sabah by 134 runs.

Perak 158 – 25 overs

 Sabah 24 all out.

Terengganu and WP Kuala Lumpur

Terengganu – 80 run – all out.

WP Kuala Lumpur – 28 runs – all out.

Terengganu beat WP Kuala Lumpur by 52 runs.

Sarawak beat Perlis by 98 run.

Sarawak – 117 in 25 overs.

Perlis     - 19 all out.

Result U18

Perak beat Sarawak by 10 wicket.

Sarawak               - 22 all out.

Perak                    - 23 – 2 overs.

Melaka beat Terengganu by 3 wicket

LAPORAN HARI KEDUA KRIKET MSSM 2013

MSSM CRICKET CARNIVAL

Pulau Pinang 26 Mac 2013 - In the on going MSSM cricket carnival, Perak pulled off a thrilling 2 run win against Johor in the under 12 category. Batting first Perak were bowled out for a paltry 50 runs. Spirited bowling and excellent fielding by the Perak juniors restricted Johor to 48 runs .

Negeri Sembilan showed their class against Penang in another match at the Batu Lanchang ground. Negeri Sembilan put in to bat scored 198runs in their 25 overs with M.Faqhrul Asyraf scoring a solid 52runs and ably assisted by Mohd Farouq b Mustakim who scored a brisk 37 runs from 32 balls which included 4 fours and one six.

In the under 18 category. Penang calked up their first win  of the tournament by beating Johor at the Penang Free school ground. Johor managed to score 136runs in their 30 overs with Mohammad shahir top scoring with 74 runs. In reply Penang managed to pass the target on the 29^th over with Jeevantra contributing a solid 62 runs to stear Penang to a 5 wicket win.

LAPORAN HARI PERTAMA KRIKET MSSM 2013

MSSM CRICKET CARNIVAL- Begins in Penang (25^th Mac 2013)

      Pulau Pinang - The MSSM cricket tournament got underway today at 8 grounds in Penang today.The tournament involving 30 teams are taking part in this edition with a total of 75 matches being played over 6 days.

       Defending champions Pahang showed their intent on defending the title they won last year by beating Melaka easily at the USM ground. Batting first Pahang chalked up 208 runs for 8 wickets in their allotted 30 overs with Mohd Amin b Isa  contributing 62 runs. In reply Melaka only managed to score 62 runs. In another match new comers Putra Jaya taking part in the competition after an absence of 5 years were given a cricketing lesson by Selangor. Selangor batting first scored 264 runs for the loss of 5 wickets and in reply Putrajaya were bowled out for 17 runs. In the under 12 category Perak beat tournament favourites Kelantan by 99 runs. Batting first Perak scored 161 runs for the loss of 7 wickets and in reply Kelantan only managed to score 62 runs .
