MSSM CRICKET CARNIVAL

Pulau Pinang 29 Mac 2013 –  In the MSSM cricket carnival U12 category Johor beat Negeri Sembilan by 61 runs. Batting first Johor piled up 147 runs in their 25 overs with Mohd. Israf Izudin contributing 38 runs. Negeri Sembilan found runs hard to come as Johor bowled and fielded brillianty to restrict Negeri Sembilan to 86 runs 9 wickets ini 25 overs. Johor will meet Selangor in the final tomorrow at the Batu  Lancang Vokasional ground. Selangor came out on top in an evenly contested match against Perak. Perak batting scored 108 runs in their 25 overs and Selangor managed to pass the target on the 23^rd overs with 2 wickets in hand.

MSSM CRICKET CARNIVAL

Pulau Pinang 29 Mac 2013 –  In the U18 category, Kuala Lumpur and Kelantan booked their place in finals with easy wins over their semifinal opponents. At the Penang Free School ground Kuala Lumpur beat Selangor by 6 wickets. Selangor batting first could only manage to score 69 runs in their 30 overs. In reply Kuala Lumpur passed the score in the 18^th over for the loss of 4 wickets. In the second semifinal at USM Kelantan beat Penang by 108 runs. Batting first, Kelantan scored 142 runs in 300 overs and in reply Penang only managed to score 39 runs, medium pace bowlers Wafiq Irfan and Mahadi Muda were the pick of the bowlers picking up 7 wickets between them.
